This episode was amazing on so many levels, but I think my favourite part is that this whole setup and story etc is a perfect demonstration of Tony's value and skills. The way he handles things can seem childish a lot of times, but damn does he get results. It's like when Eli, the literal leader of Mossad, "interviewed" him and yet Tony got the answers they needed. He has a way of making people underestimate him, and the fact he did that under truth serum also highlights it. Michael did a fantastic job with this role. Everything in this episode was great, but I always love how much it shone a light on Tony. He gets results, even if he gets there in a way others might not take seriously or expect. (Accidentally posted this on the 2nd ep comment lol oops; corrected)

2025-09-30 00:20:22 +0000 UTCThe best season opener, the best episode, the best directing, the best script, the best performances (from all the cast, but Michael Weatherly truly delivered...Cote too, she didn't have so much screen time but that tear was everything). THE BEST EVERYTHING. Jesse Stern and Dennis Smith (writing and directing respectively) episodes are some of my favorites. Imagine if they are both on the episode. I still remember watching for the first time, it kept me on the edge of my seat the whole hour. Welcome to season 7, enjoy the ride. It only keeps getting better And yes, to this day this episode is one of the best of the show, hard to top this. It's one of Michael and Cote's favorites as well. I was just cheking the best episodes. Rigth now this one ranks #4 on IMDb but it was #1 for a long time (not gonna say how long not to spoil things) but it's interesting to see wich episode supass it
