Probably my favorite season finale. I'll tell you something you might not have noticed. The photo Ziva looks at in the beginning is of her, Ari, and her sister Tali. I think it was first shown in Director David's office in the premiere (it's also shown in this episode). So Hadar saved the photo for her. The fact that she gets emotional while trying to save Rivkin is because seeing the photo is a reminder of everyone she has lost so far. I understand you being on Tony's side, but even though Ziva is acting irrationally, I see her point: she trusts both Rivkin and Tony, and now she's put in a really tough spot where she has to choose. But she’s still Ziva—at her very core, she isn’t blinded. She questions her father, she told him that Tony being jealous didn’t make him wrong, so maybe there is hope. It's been an amazing season, see you next week for season 7 (that by the way air the premiere 16 years ago today, Sep 22, 2009)!
