It was actually confirmed that Alicia was in fact sick due to the bite, not the "unsanitary" amputation. I won't go into detail to avoid giving spoilers, as this gets brought up in S8

2024-09-16 23:30:51 +0000 UTCYeah s7 is hands down the worst season of the show. It was clear it was a covid season. The strand villian storyline was so anticlimactic and just bad. Regarding the fever, the show runners confirmed that it was not from the bite. She cut her arm off & it wasn’t clean so she got a bone infection. Anyways this season is so wack and not gonna lie, it’s been a tough rewatch. But I enjoy your reactions because they are so authentic lol! I can’t wait for you to get to s8 though! Anyone you ask will say it’s miles better than s7 lol. Alicia is one of my favorite TWDU characters ever so it was hard to see what the writers were doing to her … Poor Alycia-Debnam Carey. She did her best with the writing that she was given. So long queen 🩷
