New Mod Prototype: "Introvert"

As is true with many things in life, this bit of questionable judgment got its start with a throwaway joke recently on the GreslinGames Discord, about my Fallout 4 weariness/falling mod Tuckered Out:

The extroverts among you may not completely understand the gag here. A whole bunch of us find socializing to be an exhausting activity, particularly in larger groups. We don't get any sort of charge from being in a crowd. For me, at least, I get mainly headaches and irritability that can take as long as 24 hours and at least one good night sleep to completely dissipate. Time alone is gold.

It's not that we don't like people. It's that we can find socialization very taxing.

And oh my god, have you ever noticed how slowly Fallout 4 NPCs talk, and how long it takes for them to ever get to the point? It's freaking obnoxious.

So. After thinking on this a bit, I realized that I already had most of the script code sitting around to make the above joke an actual reality in Fallout 4. PANPC had the crowd scanning mechanics. Insult to Injury has the ability to detect when the player enters and exits NPC dialogue in real time. Tuckered Out has the effects structure.

It took me a few days to get something cobbled together that worked: Introvert. It is still in prototype form, but it is available for download on the GreslinGames Discord.

With Introvert running, you will suffer ill effects whenever you are in NPC dialogue, or if you happen to be surrounded by more people than you would like (adjustable in MCM). The effects themselves are still basic placeholders and will be changed in upcoming versions, but even in its current state, Introvert showcases how annoying NPCs can be when they just can't help themselves from engaging in small talk.
