This tutorial is simple in approach if you watch closely and practice your brushstrokes and brush use. But it requires a lot of color mixing and tonal values work. So get your brushes and mix those paints to practice this way of painting.

Hello Vanessa, thank you for join. Citadel is a good brand of paints. We still use them from time to time. This is a older video but it shows some of the main attributes we like of the paint brands we use. For example Scale 75 Artist line have the quality of few brands that we like combined, but we would still sometimes use kimera for the stong saturation and density of pigments, or warcolours for thin density of layers. But not all paints. This is why we tend to share more insights on paints or brands we use as it is different by preferences.
