Justicar Marko - Part 1 - VIDEO TUTORIAL - Craftworld Studio Art PATREON

Hi dear all.  Hope you are all ready for a new tutorial. This time on Justicar Marko (model based on Marko Miladinović).

This model is available as stl file at Artisan Guild Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/ArtisanGuild And it is available as printed miniature at some of the licence sellers.

There are also bundles of Justicar Marko & Vulpeana Whitebranch (Aleksandra) available at some sellers, announced on Patreon.

This time we will go free with approach and I will try to bring you all closer to our thoughts and progress of painting. I will think of results along the way and explain my painting progress. You will see quick and fun way of getting results, but a lot of experimenting, brush and color use and interpretation.

Hope you will enjoy this approach and stay tuned as there will be more soon. ;)

Thank you and Nicest wishes,

Yours, Aleksandra & Marko

Hello i just joined after a lot of changes in my life :) I'm positevely overwhelmed and excited by the sheer amount of concepts and inspiration by just this first video :) I got the mini nice and primed so will give it a shot tonight.

Hello! Just joined and this is the first video I checked out. Your first steps of establishing tones over the entire model, did you pick the blues, purples, and red because of the OSL from the magic effect in the hand of the figure? Or was that just the tone you had in mind for the figure in general? Also, would it work if I were to use different colors for this step? Like if I wanted the lower portions of a figure to be cooler by using blues and purples, and the upper portions to be warmer by using yellows and oranges. Would that still work using this technique you portrayed in the video? Thanks!

Great hearing that. Sounds perfect to us. :D

Ooo yay, I like surprises! And yup, I moved it further away! Surprisingly, I found that the Golden Acrylic orange doesn't stink and is REALLY vibrant, so I may just use that as a replacement. They seem to have a similar consistency.

Looking forward to hear how did you like it, ps. Tomorrow comes something more ;), let's call it surprise for now. :D Oh, I didn't use much of it, and I didn't noticed during painting Marko, but now I checked and yes it smells really bad, lol. Use small amounts and keep palette a bit further away O:)

I'm watching this right now, can't wait to see what happens :-) One thing I want to ask: your Orange Neon Fluor FX from Scale75...does your stink? I bought the set, and that one smells really bad and gives me headaches. Wasn't sure if I had a bad bottle or what, lol.

Great hearing that. Thank you very much, we both appreciate it and can't wait seeing your progress. :) Also more content upcoming soon 😇

It is great hearing that. Thank you. Can't wait seeing your progress and yes, I believe some stronger orange like one of those two and some of the stronger pinks will work nicely in the mix. I used fluo to get the stronger illumination of the tone. :)

Love seeing your process on this model! I've started a 32mm version in my own style and scaled another up 150% so that I can follow your methods. So glad to have joined you guys patreon so that I can continue learning!

This is so nice and it looks like a lot of fun painting the model. Instead of fluorescent colors (orange and pink), what do you recommend? I have citadel trollslayer orange or fire dragon bright for example. Would these work out as well? Thanks for the tip ;-)
