Hm... maybe it was a bad idea to cultivate the birth of artificially intelligent conscious robots in a cartoon version of the Wild West where the mechanism for solving every interaction or conflict is with senseless consequence-free violence. Might have been a better idea to promote calmly negotiating and coming up with compromise solutions that would be mutually beneficial to all involved... but I guess rich arseholes wouldn't find that fun and pay thousands of dollars for that "game." A steady stream of rich thrill-seeking psychos really wasn't a good model for teaching the robots about humanity. William got his heart broken by his robot girlfriend, spent the next 30 years tormenting her, and now she wants to kill us all. Thanks a lot, Billy. (even if they're just talking mannequins, it's pretty sick that some programmer decided to make rape a mechanism of the game).
