One thing that stuck with me is Askeladd's line "I'm going to tell you how to kill someone you HATE." I feel like we caught Askeladd at an emotionally vulnerable moment where he killed his only friend and he's just being transparent. He's insinuating that Thorfinn doesn't really hate him anymore. He's questioning his motivations and his convictions. Thorfinn and Bjorn are the only remaining people from his OG crew and Thorfinn's been following him for 10 years, he can't really deny that they have some sort of bond. It's just really interesting that even with all his walls up, Askeladd subtly let that slip.
