2023-12-21 11:30:45 +0000 UTCI love L trains music he is such an amazing singer and story teller this is sadly a huge song with such amazing storytelling that never got the full appreciation in the fandom I still to this day catch folks that been in the fandom for years that don't know of this. also all hail the lunar republic may luna reign forever. she is thee best princess and in the top 5 of my fave ponies but their is one you heaven't met that I do hold just above her as best pony and the reason will be shown when you see her and know of her power. but yes luna is the best she never burns her subjects or blinds them for gazing upon her.... tia tho yeah my white ass has been burned by her and anyone who dares stare at her sun will go blind. so yes clearly luna is better.

2023-12-21 11:29:30 +0000 UTCGreatly appreciate you watching this. This is such an excellent production, and it seems like if you've seen it or not very binary. You have or you haven't. And that doesn't change. I've exchanged praise and insight with people I've met who've already seen it, but I don't think I've known a single person who hadn't seen it and watched it after discussing it outside of you. One quick thing to add, there were two people that worked on this, Skybolt and L-Train. IIRC it was L-Train's project and he put out a call for artists interested and Skybolt just nailed everything with his pieces and about half of the songs were very close to some he originally submitted. The original song is on L-Trains page, and Skybolt has the re-release with the lyrics and more art. This is also one I'd highly recommend listening to a few times. Not necessarily sit and watch it again, but have it playing while playing a video game or just doing stuff around the house. Hearing it a few times lets you catch a lot of the interplay BETWEEN the songs, where themes from one pop up in another and you feel like they're all connected. Plus there are some cute uses of words and phrases in it that I didn't pick the first time. One of these examples I liked is "Ruling from her silent throne / Her majesty ignored," that it's sounding like the title "Her Majesty," but is actually using majesty as an adjective. There's a lot to it that you simply can't catch the first listening.
