Ill say this since yall are done with the whole show. Good rule of thumb for shows that are not afraid to kill off characters, If they don't die on screen, they are not dead.

2025-06-15 22:16:04 +0000 UTCPay attention to the lyrics of the song used in the Jynx-Ekko fight: “Thought you had my number you played yourself” If you look at the choreography of what kid Ekko does vs what adult Ekko does, he changes his movement so he doesn’t get caught in mid-air. So Jynx thought she knew what he would do, but Ekko switched up his movements, making it that she plays herself.

2024-12-29 02:53:41 +0000 UTCAnd quick background on this specific location in Runeterra, All of the city used to be called Zaun. and they are located at Isthmus that connects two continents. They wanted to open up a passage way for sea travel routes, so the city used toxic bombs to open up a passage way. Well the bombs were too good and basically caused one whole half of the city to sink. Then the top half of the city was re-named Piltover - aka "City of Progress" where the rich families of trade controlled most of the money and benefit of the economy. They also got better access to education, thus most citizens benefited from the fortunes of better technology and health. The lower half lower half kept the name of Zaun - "City of Iron and Glass." It's where the poor were mostly left to fend off on their own since the top side didn't do much to help them. It is run by the chembarons who run unchecked trade and criminal activities. Zaun also has to deal with the toxins left over from the toxic bombs so a lot of people are less healthy with less access to technology and medical support. Combined though both cities have a symbiotic relationship and run parallel together. Arcane is the introduction to these characters and location before we know them in-game season 1 only included 9 champions which are Vi, Jinx, Caitlyn, Ekko, Jayce, Viktor Heimdeinger, Singed, and one more I cannot reveal for spoiler reasons.

But Arcane was created by Riot Games which is based in LA, while their partner animation studio called "Fortiche." - based out of France. I highly, HIGHLY recommend reacting to "Bridging The Rift - Making of Arcane - 5 part series." It deserves all the love in the world and goes into how they made Arcane. Riot games is very friendly on not copy righting their content You can either fit it, between season 1 ending and season 2, but I just recommend reacting to it after finishing season 2. Also Arcane season 1 swept many award shows from video game awards, some Emmys, and clean sweep across the 49th Annie Awards if I am correct. Arcane season 1 took 6 years to make, with a total estimated budget of 100-120 million dollars, almost 10-12 million dollars per episode. Not confirmed, but a majority of the budget, 70-90% went to the animators while the rest was for voice actors, sound effects, musical score, marketing, etc.

If you noticed looking back on episode 4, she had a few on her desk which is how and why Silco is able to blame the firelights. You are correct Jayce was racist in that moment, but again I say this all the time about this series, especially season 1. This show is very good at creating complex and nuanced characters. 1)anybody could be a villain, in somebody else's story 2)There's a lot of grey area with majority of the characters. That's just my personal opinion. Take Silco for example, morally not a good character and basically quite evil across the board, but I can at least understand his motivations and where he is coming from.
