2024-12-19 05:00:19 +0000 UTC😭 I'm so late to this but depending on my mood, for number one, I'd say Red Swan or The Rumbling. Lol And for these past ten+ year's, running with the AoT soundtrack, definitely helps with pacing and most importantly fighting titans. "Red Swan" is very sentimental and makes me think of this, One day in the future you will look back and reminisce about the "good old days", the people in your lives, your loved one's, and Appreciate how special it all really was. "The Rumbling" i believe is self explanatory as its dope af, but most importantly (not just this song) are the lyrics, as they also narrate certain perspective's from certain character(s). the rest are a tie for me.

Espeically when the song goes "All I ever wanted to do was save your life, I never wanted to grab a knife." Also when someone asked Idayama what song Eren would sing in Karaoke he said it'd be a metal song sooooo. Also it's just a bop. 2) Red Swan - Just for the young Eren scene alone. And the fact that it's in the same place Eren talks to Armin to at the end is just so perfect 😭. 3) Jiyuu no Tsubasa - Honestly just really underrated to me. I feel like everyone skips OP 2 cause OP 1 hits so hard and the start of the song sounds to national anthemy for some people. But idk, it gives me that Season 1 nostalgia feel when life was so much simpler lmao. Also the guitar and that sequence when they flash through everyone and Levi Squad flipping through the forest is ingrained in my head.

The metealhead in me wants to place The Rumbling at number one, but Shinzou Wo Sasageyo being the Scout's mantra on top of being an certified banger just makes it immovable from first place.
