Interesting facts about Mulder's surname: 'Mulder,' was the maiden name of Chris Carter's mother. It is of Dutch origin and the equivalent in English would be, 'Miller.' David Duchovny's mother had the maiden name, 'Miller.' He gave his son this as his middle name. In David's family the children are known by their middle names.....so effectively David has a son who is called Miller - which translates to Mulder in Dutch! Spooky! 👽🙂 The last time I met David I asked him if he knew all of that - of course he did!
