Getting a little frustrated tbh :p been saying in comments at start of every start of season it was meant to be obvious from s1 e1 that this is post breaking bad in black and white sections, he was watching his better call saul ads in the ep1 black and white segment to show its in the future, he's older and balding, he's on the run with a fake id from a nationwide manhunt for him, jesse and walter white and has the threat of a lifetime in prison for being one of the biggest distributors of meth in American history. Hes living in Nebraska far away from New Mexico after the vaccum cleaner guy helped him disappear. Thats why he was freaking out about his id not holding up, and why a taxi driver in Nebraska with an Albuquerque airfresher staring at him is scary, because him being from Albuquerque he may have recognised its Saul Goodman who was a local celebrity there, and was later wanted by the police. These scenes were tense as all hell to watch with the context of what's going on. Feels like you're missing the tension of these scenes because you're not aware when this is set or what is at stake, and so I've commented each time for 3 seasons that this isn't meant to be a mystery or weird start you're not meant to understand, but a concurrent story of post breaking bad events, so that you're clued in for the next one. Then next season you're still puzzling it out in the dark as to whats going on :D
