I'm a native Virginian and still live here. They are in Alexandria (in Northern Virginia), a big suburban city. They get a winter more regularly than I do where I live We get all 4 seasons though but in different amounts. I live in Norfolk, Va. We are in the southeast of the state. We might get a little snow one year, next year nothing, and the next year it might heavy snow 5 times. It varies big time. So it being perpetually like summer there is a little off.
