You are the correct that this is the beginning of the show growing/expanding. There will still be case-of-the-week episodes, but it is becoming much more serialized now. I can't wait for the upcoming episodes.

2021-07-25 00:33:52 +0000 UTCOne thing you’re mistaken about, The Machine doesn’t talk to Finch. She sends him and the government numbers. She talks to Root. As Root said, her relationship with The Machine is unique. The Rookie is an American born and raised Russian, so he wouldn’t have an accent, just on his name because that’s how it’s pronounced. You trying to figure out The Machines motives is great. She’s an ASI, she’s so many steps ahead of everyone and anything. This episode is still one of my favourites. I LOVE Root & Shaw together.
