If it weren't for the ending, this would be one of my favorite standalone episodes. It's a very creative and well done episode overall. I just really hate the ending, and I never liked Mr. X after the events in this one. On the other hand, Detective Ryan's death was very unfortunate as well. Chester killed her intentionally, but an argument could also be made that she would've died anyway, as she'd need to step closer to him sooner or later in order to arrest him.
