I like this part in the watch along progression. The viewer is totally up to speed with many threads, their understanding of the characters has developed that they're trying to make connections and predictions about how the two shows meet. It's an exciting and anticipatory time. Much like the last ep, this was slower pacing but it needs to be for what comes.

2023-11-19 12:46:50 +0000 UTCGlad you're asking those questions: Better Call Saul uses being a prequel in great ways, making you ask questions and adding tension about 'how come that character is like that' or 'why isn't that character in Breaking Bad' to replace the tension of 'will Jimmy / Mike survive' that is obvious from it being a prequel. I've never been a fan of prequels but this show showed what was possible with a prequel show since it's so masterfully done.
