The thing is with time travel you can create a bootstrap paradox with the actual creation of time travel. Like Tanhausse book in Dark, at some point someone wrote it, but then it got brought back to him and do he knew what to write thus creating the bootstrap and the origin becomes lost. Same with Mikels suicide note, after Jonas showed it to him, he knew what to write so he wrote it the same and on and on it goes lol

2021-05-13 14:27:26 +0000 UTCWhew that was quite a ride. The leaves went from green to red by the pool with Ramse because of the paradox they created with the medallions. The paradox caused a burst of temporal interference just like the machine was doing when they were sending the plants forward in time. You will find out what's up with the 12's skin very soon. So I think Ramse saying 'it took time travel to create time travel' is a bit of a stretch in this situation, and you explained exactly why it couldn't work in the post episode breakdown. Which is why the woman refers to it as the 'period of interference' in previous episodes. Once that's begun they can't interfere with anything Cole has already done even though they know some of it, because it could possibly change how events happened, meaning Ramse never gets sent back. Or would it? Who the hell knows. Looks like that cycle has ended now maybe anyway so I guess we never will. Hope that made a modicum of sense. Season two is so much fun, will give you a few answers, and plenty more questions. Muhahaha Cheers!
