In the Netherlands, the Dutch Criminal Code requires that there is an intent demonstrable to use the imag/videoe for sexual pleasures,.through what is depicted on the photo/video. @ Blackstar. Believe me, I also thought it was a no-brainer that there should be no recorded or captured data in the form of images which depict a toddler naked for example. Until the dermatologist prof. asshole showed me and other interns a close up of a 8 year old girls' vaginal opening, on which manifestations of eczema were visible with a child that came to the general practioner . I felt thrown before a loop because we all know these images exist, no matter that a professor uses them for medical education. I just do not think it is necessary to depict these photo's, also not in the medicall classroom. Just show us a drawing of it and if we will have to see these kinds of intimate, vulnerable places, then it should be with parents present and under supervision. Goddamn prof. probably thought I was one of those ''nonce hunters'' of the UK that gave him a visit, because after class when everyone left, when I tried to talk about one of the presented images, he becane Usain Bolt. what about baby photos? innocent family photos, like bathtime or something? the beach, where many kids don't wear shirts or even just strip to go in the water sometimes? nudity is not always in a sexual context, especially when it's a child. I don't think being weirdly covered all the time like strict islamists who impose it on women is the answer. Just because predators COULD view naked children and see it as sexual does not mean we should all think as they do. then we essentially ALL become predators, no?

Plain and simple no child should be photographed EVER or seen without clothing unless it's to change them because they can't change themselves (like changing diapers etc) Any other reason straight jail bruh

I think it would be good to raise the age of consent to 18 everywhere. of course like an 18 year old and a 17 year old doing it together shouldnt be illegal, but, i think it would be good to raise it to stop like 20+ year olds from trying to have sex with like a 16 year old. I am a woman that spends most of her time alone in the nude so I view nudity as being innocent and natural. Kids do too. My mom and I showered together frequently when I was a child to save hot water, it wasn’t sexual and she’s not a pervert! As a species that wears clothing and is ashamed of their bodies outside of them like being naked is inherently sexual, our society is so weird about naked children…hence pedophiles existing.

As far as the human imagination goes, a human can masturbate to anything. Some ppl masturbate to cars. So a photo of a naked child could not be sexual but it can still be used by a pervert as spank material, so I think that’s where the paranoia is centered when it comes to naked children in photography and art. The viewer makes something porn, not always the creator of the content. A mom takes a nude photo of me, a predator finds it suitable masturbation material…so is my mom a child pornographer? As far as nirvana, the fact that he did another cover years later without seeming to be very traumatized.....i call bs on that. From what I understand the cover was supposed to represent how we basically are "chasing the almighty dollar" from birth. The Nevermind cover always made me uncomfortable too. Especially the fact that they made T-shirts of it pretty recently. You don't want a picture of a baby's penis in your car let alone on your body haha. I agree that I don't think it is CP. I don't think the effect would have been much different had the baby been wearing a swim diaper. However if the intention of having him chasing a dollar was to imply that he was involved in prostitution then I would say it's CP like Pretty Baby (as another commenter mentioned) is (or at least Brooke Shields's Playboy spread from the same time. What were they thinking?!) It will be difficult to make a judgement without being able to have Kurt Cobain swear under oath that the baby is not supposed to represent a prostitute.

I think intent is the key element. If you take a photo of your nude child in the tub, just for memories, that's not child porn. If you take a nude photo of a beautiful little girl and post it to your "members only" website, that's child porn. Why is this photo being taken? Your intention is everything...
