But also, your tangent about the bug in your car was heartwarming. I’m sorry he didn’t make it. I save bugs too (when I’m not too freaked out by them) and I take bug-saving as a sign of a truly nice person, with high empathy for others. My grandmother did it and taught the whole family to do it, (some don’t anymore), but I do because the guilt runs deep if I don’t. Anyway, keep up the great work!

I am the same when it comes to smaller creatures. People look at me like I'm weird because I go out of my way to safely remove insects from my house/a car etc! Just because they are small shouldn't mean we kill them. They deserve life too and are just going about their day. One time I embarrassed someone because we were having coffee in a cafe and there was a trapped bee trying to get out a false window and I went all over the place trying to catch the bee to get him outside heh heh Another time I was going for a walk in the forest with my dad and kept stopping to flip these beetles back onto their legs, there was loads of them on their backs wriggling their little legs tryna get back up I felt so bad for them!

You need to be CAWtious when it comes to these guys. Just a momentary distraction can mean the difference between catching or losing them. Success or failure. Someday maybe even life or death, whether it be yours or theirs. So stay frosty, even in the heat, pee before you leave the house, don't drink too much on what could be a long stakeout, and carry a pee bottle just in case you you do. P.S. I think he looked like Eminem in that younger photo. Maybe that's what he was hoping...
