"Fun" fact for a sad episode: That model ship Adama broke at the end was an actual expensive antique on loan from a museum. Supposedly worth $200 000. The crew didn't tell Edward James Olmos so he just assumed it was a cheap model. Then he got a bit too into the emotional scene and ad-libbed the breaking of it...
