Track Development Update - Stafford Driving Centre
Added 2024-07-24 16:58:49 +0000 UTCHey everyone, new track set on an air strip, I go here irl to drift! The airfield has been long abandoned and it's now a driving centre for different driving disciplines. Every couple of weekends they host a drift day and this is a layout used.

I used a drone to photograph the ground then set it up as a texture, so what you see on the ground is a series of 4k photos. The dark layout is actually water, they damp the track to make it easier for beginners and to slow tyre wear. I set this area to have more reflection to simulate wetness.
Its a short but sweet layout, its also filled with damaged areas of tarmac, holes, bumps, full on pot holes! I tried to simulate this too by stacking up layers of tarmac, you can feel every bump and sliding the edges I find fun!
I've hosted the track on a 16 slot members only server, come and join and test the track with us. The track will remain for members only.
