The Cylon-Human hybrid's blood has no antigens. This is the same as Type O blood that we have in the blood group classifications of Types A, B, AB, and O. Type O blood is a universal donor (which can be given to anyone) because it has no antigens. The humans from the Twelve Colonies do not have a Type O. For those that have seen the ending of the series finale this revelation has a very special significance.
