me: i should go to bed. also me: let's do more fringe with jorrell. we assumed he was a child (or "child", i suppose) observer. knowing "our" observer was named september in the script (though sadly not used in canon until season 4), many of us called this one "january". though, as you now know, there was the original 12 science team, with month names (like august), he is not "january". we met him in season 4 i believe (i'd have to look it up). though we did always call the "old" observer "december" (we first meet him in the episode "august"), and i dunno if the show always had that in mind or if it was a nod to the fans (as they did a lot on the show), he did end up being named "december". ANYWAY. hope you don't mind me rambling away about fringe in the comments... it's my favorite show of all time and i've seen it a ridiculous amount of times, so :/ anyway the word this ep is "WALTER"
