First, I wanted to give y'all a small update about me because I know I was quiet most of January.

Over the Holidays I ended a toxic, manipulative relationship admits dealing with homophobic family. I fell into a horrible sleep schedule and I think the emotional and physical toll of all that sleep debt finally caught up with me in early January. It drained me of a lot of my motivation and drive.

I wanted to apologize for not communicating this to y'all, but I'm here now to tell you I am okay and am working through it (both with my therapist and also with those close to me).

I'm not saying all this because I need attention or validation about this in any kind of way. I simply wanted to take this time to update y'all and say it's okay to not be okay.

All that being said, here's your comic update for February 2021:

First, The first batch of pages are complete and Chapter 6 is still slated for completion by March 2021!!

Daryl has been working on some personal projects and some other comics for clients the past couple weeks. I'll keep you all posted on how this goes or if there are any delays on the pages, but as of right now everything is still on schedule.

Question for y'all tho: do you think kickstarter would be a good campaign for raising funds to create the first print volume? I've seen a lot of indie comic writers and artists use its platform and am curious to see how it would work.

Second, the BKI website is updated to fit Chapter 4! I'll also be adding chapter 5 here when it's done to keep a chronological reading list in case y'all want to go back and re-read whenevs

Third, Writing the novel version is actually going well! I've officially hit 25,000 words of my 85,000 goal in the D1 (draft 1/1st draft version)! I definitely think this is going to be a much longer story than that but I'm super proud of the progress regardless :)

Fourth, on the the SFW Liam x Norman comic: I'll keep y'all posted on this, but I've had them on my to-do's for a month now. It's hard, but I'm working on it.
