Hi :)
Here is the script preview for how I wrote page 11 from Chapter 1!
One thing that I loved the most about this particular page was Daryl really took creative liberties and flexed his artistic talents. While I did give him a decent outline for my vision of this page, he took it to the next level and added in a lot, especially in terms of paneling and adding emotionally charged facial expressions for the characters.
This page was definitely a huge stepping stone for me as a writer because it showed me how to give an artist creative wiggle room so they can add in their own vision for how the scene should play out in comic art form. For Daryl, that meant spacing the panels so the scene had enough believable emotional weight when Norman got caught checking out his gym crush.
Like, those four panels where Norman and the GF lock eyes – my text outline for that part of the page was minimal. But the additions Daryl made created so much more entertaining value for those panels. I am so in LOVE with how it turned out xD it's too funny!
Here's the finished comic art for Page 11 as a reference:

That wraps up this Script Snippet! Feel free to message me or comment on this post with any questions or feedback you have :)
Have a great day!
