hellooo ma looooves!
Welcome to yet another chonkest Sketchbook Tour, please have a sit. This month was a fun one; I've noticed how much I've improved drawing poses and facial expressions when I work on my graphic novel, and it's all thanks to this guy: ma trusty ugly sketchbook.
Some things worth mentioning:
β’ I'm still practicing patterns and clothing textures. I think I can replicate clothes from references, but it's still hard to draw clothes (accurately) from memory
β’ I'm mega proud how much I'm improving with HAIR and how hair falls. I've ALWAYS avoided drawing hair because I never knew how to draw it with my style and how to make it work. But I think what's happening it's interesting and I wanna see where it takes me.
β’ Really enjoying drawing movement in the form of screen-shots (like the person spinning in the air), I think it breaks the sketchbook composition and it also helps me practice difficult or uncommon poses!
As always I'm adding all references (mostly from instagram) AND a zip. file in case you wanna see all pages in your computer. Please I beg you do not copy, retrace or sell/trade these pictures : .. )
Also, if you ever find a cool picture please send it my way, I always always love to draw new stuff! Example: A patron recently shared this IG account filled with cool pictures for us to draw!
Have a lovely week ahead ma loves, see you mega soon (most likely this week) for our POBOX unboxiiiiing!
