Final Decision

I wanted to end the anxious waiting because I'm getting more frustrated each day.
The experience for the pitching was hell for me. Disclaimer, I'm not mad at WT or any of their staffs, nor blaming them for this.
We spent three sleepless nights for the pitch, preparing the documents and creating character designs. Upon submission, only then did they confirm if we are under contract for a different platform, which I originally thought they already had an idea about since the editor said she's been following my series. While I understand that they can't offer me a contract if it was the case, I asked them if there's a chance they'll offer me a contract if ever the series is made available (because originally, I plan to cancel Tapas if they would) but never really got a clear answer. I'm also not expecting to get an answer anytime soon even if I ask them again.
So yeah, looking back I realized I never had an issue like this with Tapas . When they offered me they didn't ask me to pitch the story first, their exclusive manager said he's been religiously reading my series and he believes in the series potential. He also gives me the freedom to post here in Patreon regardless of the exclusive contract I signed for them.
Although, I'm upset that we won't be making it to originals, the fact that I'll be working with amazing people on Tapas is a relief for me. Maybe, in the future, with a different story I'll try my luck again on Webtoon but for now, Tapas will be my new home

You really inspired me to want to get back into making comics myself. Safe as Houses is legitimately one of my favourite series so I'm very excited to see where this new path will take you.

I hope the disappointment of not being on WT Originals will not be too great cause I reaalllly feel like your story will be able to be executed better on Tapas without all the restrictions and with freedom in your story and art. Also, you will be working on this prob for a while lol so it should be fun for you for a long period of time and working with the right people and company can be just the thing to make it an amazing experience!
