So we are pitching our story for Webtoon Originals.
To be honest, I'm on a dilemma right now, whether to stay on Webtoon or move to Tapas.
When the time comes for us to decide, I'll choose whichever will be less pressuring and will benefit my team the most.
In case you're wondering where the tattoo is, I plan place it somewhere else since I'm making changes with his character design.

Maybe you could talk to other authors who are original with WT or with tapas? And check their opinions? Good luck! I guess is hard to choose! But i think you will be fine either way, both are really good !!!!!!❤️

2022-01-27 09:37:34 +0000 UTCand I do agree, Webtoon is a little too restricting, the mature content warning that they have isn't enough, unfortunately. I do believe that even if we get chosen for originals, I'd still need to tone down most scenes I already have in mind. All I can say is from my experience, Tapas has been really creator friendly and has taken good care of us. I don't have enough experience with webtoon staffs tho.

I don't know what the rules are at Tapas, but if you are planning to get some romance into the story I must say I am very very verryyy disappointed by Webtoon how quick things are not allowed on their platform and how some artists are struggling with this to still get the story right. Also, I obv don't know what platform takes better care of the creators and how the other benefits are and you really should do what feels good for you! But wanted to put my thoughts out about that :)
