[EARLY ACCESS] The Boosting Problem Part 2: Game's Broke?

Boosting as an activity is ruining WoW, but it's not the actual disease - merely a symptom. The root cause, and the cure, is Blizzard. Here's what we think.

I'll add my support to the other posters. Really well done discussing this topic. The nature of M+, specifically the timed aspect and what that enables, led me to never get involved with the system since inception. I direly miss the days when M+ didn't exist combined with the slightly more useful group finder (not the auto one necessarily) functionality.
The approach that Blizzard has to how they've constructed dungeons and the M+ scene enable boosting and the toxic behavior that runs parallel to it. When the punishment for failure is so high, even minor mistakes result in getting chewed out or kicked from groups. When I've brought this up with my prior guildmates, the response was always "just find friends to play with". As if that were the easiest of things when your time is limited and not consistent.

Bravo on both parts of this video. Matt thanks for the research and time you put in. Team, thanks for bringing boosting to light. These 2 videos have definitely helped me understand why it’s so prevalent and until Blizz changes their entire dynamic, boosting isn’t going anywhere, especially when the game is pretty much built around it by this point
