Smealum - The Ancient Animus

I don't have a lot to say about today's character. Smealum only has appeared in the Ancient Era, as of Part 211. His appearances were limited, but one must admit that the guy was a total Chad.

First, Smealum's personality. The guy is aggressively anti-war. When Valac ordered Smealum to go into the forest along with all his brethren and kill animals to read their souls, Smealum didn't do it. He just straight up ignored Valac and did his own thing. That's a +1 to the Chadometer.

Then we learned that Smealum is pro-nature. The guy is a total hippie. He likes chilling with animals, smoking that good shit, and contemplating the meaning of life.  That's another +1 to the Chadometer. 

When an angel with only one arm and a broken wing stumbles into his little clearing, Smealum simply observes the newcomer for a minute, then politely disarms him and invites him to sit at a stump. He scares the shit out of his angelic brotha so hard that the guy just does it!  That's another +1 to the Chadometer.  

And, finally, we learn that Smealum is the inventor of Sticks and Bones, a timeless demon game that goes on to last for a thousand generations, well over a hundred thousand years. The guy leaves his mark on demon history, proving he can outlast the competition. That is a final addition of +100 points to the Chadometer.

Sadly, after the Ancient Era, we don't get to see Smealum or Shepherd again. Presumably, they died. Or did they? It's a little odd this angel and demon dynamic duo had quite a bit of screen time, yet didn't amount to much. Cryopod certainly isn't a story where that happens often. Though, it did happen at least one other time.

Kinda makes you wonder what happened to ol' Smealy-boy. I wonder if we'll ever see him again, eh?

I'll say no more. Hope you guys enjoyed the artwork! Shepherd is coming up next, followed by some other characters I haven't determined yet.
