Berith - Emperor of Backstabbing

Berith is a character from the Ancient Era. Born during Valac's reign, she quickly rose to power due to her ability to lie, cheat, and follow any of Valac's orders. While she was never quite as powerful as Nerissa, his favorite toy, Berith did her best to take as much power as she could and eventually rose to the rank of Emperor.
As the original shadow-walker, Berith's ability to manipulate darkness is mostly unparalleled. She can teleport from and to any patch of darkness, summon mighty shadow-spears to rip her enemies apart and drain their mana, and even use her shadows to summon living armor around herself.
Despite being a demon Emperor, Berith's impact on Refresh is relatively minor. She is neither a prominent character, nor one whose presence dramatically changes the coming arcs. Nevertheless, she does have an important role to play, as readers will soon find out.
I don't have a lot to say about her. So, for now, enjoy the artwork!
