Today's post is all about Uriel and the four Valkyries, Catherine, Sophia, Hyacinth, and Penelope.
Be sure to check out the first post for Uriel, and also the original post for Catherine, as well!
The Leading Lady: Uriel; Archangel of Protection (AKA Archangel of Retribution).
Uriel is a hotheaded warmonger on par with Michael. She eviscerates demons gleefully, all while wearing a wicked smile on her face. She loves to fight, kill, and rip flesh to shreds. Some theorize that, even compared to her brother Michael, she's the most vicious of all the Archangels.

Not only can Uriel manipulate the four elements of water, fire, Earth, and wind, she can also manipulate light magic better than nearly any other Archangel, allowing her to create four magical constructs, which will aid her in battle. She wields two legendary spears, the blood-red Gae Bolg and the golden Gungnir. Each of these weapons is enchanted enough to rip through a heavily armored tank without so much as dulling their blades.
Next, we have Hyacinth, the Valkyrie of Wind.

Hyacinth is an adept ranger-type warrior. In addition to a magical bow summoned by the power of wind, she also wields two daggers for when she needs to get up close and dirty. Luckily, since her arrows can fire at enemies like cannonballs, she rarely needs to descend to the ground when combating enemy armies.
Hyacinth is a bit stuck-up, and perhaps a little snobbish. However, those who know her believe she's merely standoffish and dislikes working hard. If she can do something 'the easy way,' then by jove, that's exactly what she will do.
Next, we have Penelope, the Valkyrie of Earth.

Penelope is a cool, confident fighter, but one who packs a mean punch. Her greatmace allows her to rend the Earth itself with its massive attacks. Standing seven-feet-tall, she towers over nearly every other angels but her brother Gabriel. She's a giantess, but she never lets it go to her head. Heck, she lets all the bad parts of the world slide off her back.
Penelope is one chill babe. She's the kind of gal you're want to invite over for drinks with the guys on Superbowl Sunday. And hey, there's nothing wrong with that.
Next is Sophia, the Valkyrie of Water.

I've always liked girls who are perky and playful. While Hyacinth is my new #1, Sophia is right up there beside her. I modeled her fighting and speech style after my favorite Avatar girl, Ty Lee! She hops, dances, spins, and flips around while fighting her enemies. In addition to manipulating the element of water, she also wields a mean bo staff and controls it like an extension of her own body.
The best thing about Sophia is how she never gives up. Even if an enemy beats her black and blue, she still fights for as long as she can, because that's the kind of girl she is.
Oddly, Sophia does not have any ability to heal people, but Hyacinth does!
Next is the final girl, Catherine the Valkyrie of Fire.

(I don't know why her wings are blue in the transparent version. We might fix them later.)
Catherine has a massive, important backstory. Not only is she the wielder of the Sword from Heaven, which eventually finds its way into Loan of Arc's hands, she's also one of the three angels who carries a piece of Jormungandr's essence. Gabriel wields the spirit, Michael the body, and Catherine the dragon's fire.
Sadly, using the power of dragonfire always badly burns and injures Catherine. She tries to fight with melee weapons only, but deciding not to wield her mightiest weapon often puts her at risk.
The most interesting thing about Catherine is that she is wholly mute, thanks to having burned her throat to the point she cannot speak anymore. Luckily, she can still draw magical letters in the air to communicate with the other angels. Still, it isn't ideal.
Now, for a bunch of extra leftover art!

Unfortunately, the slowdown on art is probably going to keep happening. Raul is having terrible power outage problems as a result of Venezuela rationing electricity during the day and nighttime.
I do have one other artwork completed, but I am holding off on posting it for a bit until the time is right!
Thanks for reading, guys. I hope you enjoyed the new character showcase!
