Secret Characters #7 - ASSAULT UNIT VOLTES

Sentinels, the most powerful beings in the galaxy.

Originally created by Volgrim Technopaths during the Seven Great Wars, Sentinels were designed to be indestructible peace-keeping robots capable of enforcing order and suppressing the violent sectors among the various Volgrim worlds. 

Their original programming was rushed out due to a lack of time. Sentinels had a solution implemented to keep themselves in line called the 'Point System.' Negative actions, such as genocide, would count as massive losses in points, while positive actions, such as keeping the peace and preventing war, would count as positive points. In this way, Cuanali, the creator of the Sentinels, intended to keep them in line and prevent them from causing harm.

Sadly, her efforts became moot. The Sentinels eventually recoded themselves and turned to extermination of what they deemed the inferior biologicals. Mass genocide followed soon after, and the Volgrim were forced to unite before a mere 100 Sentinels exterminated the entirety of the Volgrim species.

Cuanali and the other leaders placed the Sentinels into deep storage, since their bodies were nigh-indestructible. All they could do was hope that nobody found and awakened them ever again.

Assault Unit Voltes is one of several Sentinels designed to inflict maximum damage upon biologicals and their weaponry in the shortest amount of time possible. Among its comrades, Voltes is considered the fastest Sentinel, able to transmit around at nearly the speed of light. Most Sentinels are significantly faster than biological creatures, but Voltes is in a whole other tier of its own.

Voltes wields a multi-purpose arm cannon, aptly named The Annihilator. Capable of delivering millions of volts of electricity, it can destroy technological systems, fry biological tissue to ash, and even melt through steel if concentrated on one spot long enough. Additionally, The Annihilator's three metal prongs are sharp enough to pierce even the thickest armor. Voltes is known for impaling objects and spinning its cannon at high speeds to rip holes in them.

Naturally, Voltes is also incredible at manipulating the power of electricity. It can absorb bio-energy from organic creatures, as well as short circuit anything it gets its hands on.

Voltes is going to be a lot like President Ose and Zeus, power-wise, but it will also have a lot of differences thanks to its nearly indestructible Living Moldanium body, which allows Voltes to shapeshift and recover from nearly any amount of damage.
