Monthly Patreon-Only Art Dump #2

Important note: I will set this post to Public status in a day or two, after I finish the finale for Chapter 1 of Cryopod Refresh. 

This month's art dump is going to be much smaller than last month. Presently, I'm working to get MWTX set up with a new laptop and drawing tablet. The laptop is on the way but will take a week or two to get to him. The tablet will be like $400, so that will take quite some time for me to save up the money.

In any case, the only artist I'm using these days is MWTX. Nobody else. Here are the images he's worked on!

First, I'll start with Gressil. These images are the original Gressil mockups, in order of request. You can see how he's evolved over time.

These are the designs AlexGreenArt made for Gressil. They look pretty badass, right?

There's just one problem. She copied another artist and didn't tell me.

That really pissed me off. It's so blatant and as someone who respects artistic integrity, I couldn't, in good faith, keep using the design.

So, instead, MWTX made a more original design.

We started with the above image. However, it was a bit too anime and over-the-top.

So we moved to this one...

Much better, but kinda ugly looking, and not very stylistic. It lacked a certain 'attitude'.

We finished with the one below.

This is the finalized Gressil design. Pretty badass, right? We keep that Sin City aesthetic with lots of black, white, and a splash of red, but now he's even more intimidating than before!

Check out that second head though. Notice how it has three eyes?

Spoiler alert!

Gressil wears the head of another demon at his side. Lucifer! Why does he do this? There's a good reason for it, which you'll find out in tomorrow's part!

By the way, this was the original image that Azante made for Lucifer. It was nowhere close to what I wanted.

She looks far more menacing now. Just the attitude I wanted!

I'll finish up with this image of Jason. I plan to make this post public after the next part, so this isn't technically a Patreon post anyway.

MWTX's initial Jason designs looked like the above. Not bad, but a bit more anime than I'd like. The second is pretty good! It just isn't quite accurate. We'll be revamping it soon.

However, the younger version of Jason already received a damatic revamp. It looks like this, now!

That is, in fact, Gressil reaching for him from the darkness, since Gressil is the statue monster.

Pretty slick, right? Sorry we don't have more images for you guys, but once I get that tablet for MWTX, things will change dramatically. I think you guys are going to love what he puts out. We've only just begun!
