PATRON POLL: What sort of structure would you like to see for my next work of fiction?
Added 2017-11-23 10:23:00 +0000 UTCThis is not a post about genre. My next story could be a fantasy medieval story, a sci-fi, an ancient-aliens story, a sequel/prequel/sidequel to Cryopod, a superhero story, a virtual MMO story, or anything else. I have my possibilities open.
What this poll is about, however, is gauging what my patrons want as far as the length and style of the next one. Vote below and tell me the length and style of the story you'd like to see.

No, it is not, my dude! It's still in progress, and is currently nearing the end. Chapter 1, Chapter 2, 3a, and 3b are complete, 3c is almost complete, and the finale route is all that's left!

2018-01-10 05:32:39 +0000 UTCI agree, man. The Foundation series, and those other classic epics, the sorts of novels that you read for weeks and months because they're so long and dense... I miss those classic works of art. Asimov was ahead of his time.

2017-11-24 07:58:32 +0000 UTCI would like to see something contained within the world you've already created. So "sequel/prequel/sidequel to Cryopod".

2017-11-23 18:04:32 +0000 UTCCryopod reminds me of the long multi-part stories I used to read, like the Isaac Asimov Foundation or Robot series, and Piers Anthony Xanth or Incarnations of Immortality series. They were all good books in themselves, but all together, they made for something great to read. I just haven't found anything like this in today's scifi/fantasy, except for Cryopod. That is one of the reasons I'm still reading and I would love more of this. I don't care about the genre (I like scifi/fantasy), but if it's a straight history novel, I would probably not read it :)

2017-11-23 15:59:24 +0000 UTCYup, basically. There's a character limit on the poll though, or the options would have been about twice as long. I worked with what I had haha

2017-11-23 11:14:04 +0000 UTCJust feels like it's a separate question to me. Short, medium, long, or interactive? Or was the thinking that interactive is a length because you wouldn't be able to fully control length without knowing what people choose?

2017-11-23 11:01:31 +0000 UTCI don't follow. What do you mean?

2017-11-23 10:48:47 +0000 UTCIf you're wondering about interactivity, you might want to put it in another poll...
