My plan to get more readers

I haven't made a patron-only post in a very long time, but that will be changing once the web-serial is completed.

I was sitting here mapping out a plan for the future, and thinking about how I could get more eyeballs for the story, which would obviously lend itself to more readers, but also more patrons down the line, more people who would be able to drop positive reviews if/when we eventually hit Amazon, etc.

So here is the plan, in incremental steps.

1. Complete Cryopod, then repost the first 8 parts rewritten somewhat on our sub.

2. Advertise it on several subreddits, including writing prompts, bestof, etc.

3. Start work on the pseudo-rewrite and the sequel.

4. The pseudo-rewrite might end up being completed very quickly, in which case I move on to the full rewrite, which will be PATREON ONLY. The full rewrite is what will eventually be posted to Amazon, and I am very likely going to get it edited professionally by paying a significantly large fee of $5k-$10k for a professional editor(s) to look at it.

5. When it gets posted to amazon, I'll hopefully have found a way for my patrons to get it for free so you guys can leave reviews for it. Without reviews in the first 48 hours, it will fizzle out and get no attention.

6. I will once again repost to HFY and WP.

After that, anything could happen. This is the general outline I'm working with, and it may change as time goes on. It will be at least a solid year before we get to the completion of the novel and the completion of the pseudo-rewrite, so don't expect all of this to be finished by Christmas of this year or anything. This is a long-haul project.
