Another Merry Blizzcon | Weekly Update

First, I shipped out the Master Tier rewards yesterday - they should be with you in 5-7 working days, sooner for the UK people.
Second, let’s talk about content! Blizzcon was a tremendous success. Personally, that was driven by the future content of the game looking quite good. I had been getting a little de-motivated for live content, but I’m feeling a lot better now. My plan is to continue my break from WoW until the Patch 8.1, and then properly get stuck in again then. Ultimately 8.1 just makes things so much nicer than launch. From a design perspective, it does feel like a beta to live transition for me.
As for the channel content, well I’d like to talk about the design of Nazjatar, what on earth could be happen with 8.3, given the tease, as well as some classic coverage.
As for classic, well I don’t plan to go to hard with classic exclusive content. Rather, I’d like to create general interest content that’d appeal to anyone. For example, rather than doing a classic class guide, I’d rather to a video comparing how classes play differently. Rather than a simple graphics showcase, I’d rather do a comparison of zones, pre and post cataclysm.
I’ll be kicking Patreon back into gear. The first of a new type of content will appear this Sunday. I’m a bit short on AMA questions, so the more the merrier with them, and I have two game review / design discussion on the way for Assassins Creed Oddesy and Rainbow Six Siege, with more to follow.
