Hello hello!
How you guys doing? Are you playing enough TTRPGs? I for sure do know that I don't!
Why?
Cause I am hard at work!
This week will be the second release of Howard's Heroes on YouTube! You might want to keep an eye out next weekend on Spotify and apple music. Might have something that will drop there too!
Speaking of Spotify, if you follow me on intragram, you saw that I posted about The Icewind Dale album! This one is very close to hitting 500k plays!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
This is absolutely incredible, and I couldn't be happier!
Speaking of releases, there will be another CoS track releasing this week, probably Wednesday or Friday. Not sure yet I am still working on it, actually... I took a break to write this ahahaha!
so, What's next?
-The everything else series will continue this summer and have a second track added to it.
-Patreon Exclusive will start this autumn.
-I'm in talk to bring back map&music combos, we'll see what happen, nothing is set yet.
AND
-Moving out of the D&D world?
About that...
We all have seen what Wizard and Hasbro have done in the past 2 years from raising their price higher than needed, using AI art in official book cove (**see my AI art stance bellow), and the layoffs.
I'm currently exploring the possibilities of making music for other modules/TTRPGs after Curse of Strahd so, if you have any suggestion, let me know!
My stance on AI art: If you have the means to hire an artist, do it. If you can't, Ai art is there for you. I think it will be the same for AI Music. It can get the job done, kind of, it's not perfect and will not be the same quality as hiring an artist but for someone who's starting out or someone who do not have the means, Its good.
I'm not going to lie, I use it. I release a lot of music and buying arts from an artist for every song or album I release I would be straight in the negatives for my revenues, and I need my music revenues to pay the bills at the end of the months.
Like I said before, when I can afford it or do collab. I do it and you'll notice too that those artists are credited in my videos. But lately, life in Canada got more and more expensive and YouTube and Spotify algorithm likes colorful thumbnails so yeah, it sucks.
Anyway, see you later this week for the releases, feel free to share your opinions and input for for what's next!
