Improbably Compatible (Old Knees)

This Old Knees is probably my most seen comic after someone uploaded it to tiktok where it has several millions of views. I'm a little bothered by that particular reposting of it, because the uploader chose to omit the final panel! I think some people interpret the final line as being pessimistic, but I think the purple crow is making a reasonable guess AND we have just seen that they are, in fact, friends in many many other universes! (With the exception of one, which was noticed by a lot more people than I had anticipated)

The idea for this comic came at me quite by accident. I was just testing out different colours for skies in a grid with the two crow subjects remaining the same. I thought it was a fun effect, so I multiplied the squares and did it again, and voilà, a comic is born.

I so enjoyed the process of painting in small pixel-esque squares that I replicated the effect and filled an 8.5"x11" sheet to use for the reverse side of the covers of my new book, 'Ew, It's Beautiful' (Available here).
