I'm so happy with how it turned out. I made an effort to really maximize each page to make it feel really comic-booky and I think it paid off.
I've also done a reprinting of Hop! (this time with a glossier paper), so if you missed out on that one the first time around, you have another chance to read the crow adventure from 2021 in book form. Which means that I've got three books in the store! It's starting to be a real collection.
Thank you for all of your encouragement through these stories! They wouldn't be as fun to write and draw without your support.
Some 'fun' numbers for Woven
• 72 pages of duotone delight
• 237 individual comic panels
• Myrtle appears in 23 panels (only?)
• A total of 177 partial or full barn owls drawn
• I'm not going to count all those nests!
Finally, I just wanted to let you know that the reason I've been sort of quiet here recently is that I'm working on another book of False Knees strips which I probably can't speak about since I'm not the one publishing it. I will share updates and new quick comics when I can!
