Hourly Comic Day 2021 (part 1)
Added 2021-02-02 02:06:25 +0000 UTCToday was hourly comic day, a day some cartoonists challenge themselves to draw a comic for every hour that they are awake. I didn't do that, haha. I made an effort to make as many comics as I could today, and here is the result of that! I think I'll try to do some more as the week goes on. What I take away from the exercise is rewarding. Smaller ideas illustrated faster.
It also gives me a chance to make sort of surreal autobiographical comics, which is how I started out in comics! So it's nice to revisit occasionally.

They keep hatching in our house on sunny days from who knows where but we usher them out of the way and protect them from busy footpaths of children. The children protect them now too and scolded grandma vehemently for smashing one.
