Remember when we announced the French translated False Knees book a few months ago? Well this time, we are so excited to announce the English book is coming!! 🎉

What's really exciting with this book is that it has 19 new, unpublished comics! Josh was working on them last Winter and Spring and I can attest they're just as funny and beautiful as the rest of them. Here's what the publisher says about the book:
"Based on Joshua Barkman’s popular webcomic by the same name, False Knees is animal humor taken to a very absurd, darkly delightful place.
In Barkman’s debut print collection, False Knees fans will find old favorites along with an abundance of all-new material. Featuring creatures found in the author’s native Ontario, this always sharp, sometimes head-scratchingly bizarre collection of comics offers a view into the secret, surprisingly insightful world of blue jays, squirrels, geese, wolves, and rabbits."
I always like reading descriptions of what False Knees comics are like. It's hard to describe!
The book holds 140 comics total, and is published by Andrews McMeel, which is a big publisher for webcomics. As a result, it will be available in Barnes & Nobles, Indigo, Ingram, Baker & Taylor, and probably more libraries! And on Amazon too.
It will be available October 15, but it is possible to pre-order it now! Josh will advertise this in a few weeks, but I thought you should know first :) You can find the pre-order links on the publisher's page.

My local independent bookstore will special order books for me that they don’t normally stock. It might even encourage them to purchase copies for their store!

2019-09-20 21:32:51 +0000 UTCIt will be available in bookstores starting October 15th. The big ones in Canada, US, and UK will all have it (also I think Book Depository covers much of Europe?). Independent bookstores may also carry it in those places as well, especially if people recommend it!
