Yeah, McKenna, imo, is one of the best out there at explaining what McLuhan was up to. Will definitely be part of the prep I think.

As regards the latter, fair chance y'all are familiar already, but there is a brilliant Terence McKenna lecture out there on the man - one of his most captivating and all-encapsulating imo. Just thought I'd mention as it'd probably be a great listen in preparation. Articulates and pins McLuhan within a fascinating alternative/suppressed/quasi-occult history of media in the west. Thanks to you both as always, very much looking forward to all of this๐ - Frank

I grew up in Chicago and for 16 or so years we took our two children to a cabin rental in Bear Lake (in Manistee County). Love it up north. (And the Cherry Bowl Drive-in is iconic.) I have some photos of Lake MI that rival any shot I have of the beaches here in NorCal. Hope you had a great time up there. Thanks for your brilliant podcast.
