Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991): A sequel where the T-800 is reprogrammed to protect Sarah and her son, John, from the liquid metal T-1000. Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003): A future war is averted, but a new Terminator, the TX, appears to target John Connor. (Nick Stahl as John Connor, Claire Danes as Kate Brewster and Kristanna Loken as T-X). Terminator Salvation (2009): Set in a post-apocalyptic future, it focuses on John Connor's leadership of the human resistance against Skynet. (Christian Bale as John Connor, Bryce Dallas Howard as Kate Connor (John’s wife) and Sam Worthington as Marcus Wright). Terminator Genisys (2015): A reboot with a complex timeline that alters events from the original film. (Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor and Jason Clarke as John Connor). Terminator: Dark Fate (2019): A direct sequel to Terminator 2, ignoring the events of the previous sequels. (Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor, Mackenzie Davis as Grace, Natalia Reyes and Gabriel Luna as Gabriel/Rev-9). Television: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (2008), takes place shortly after “T2: Judgement Day” as Sarah and John work to prevent the creation of Skynet. It was developed without Cameron's involvement; 2 seasons, 31 episodes. (Lena Headey as Sarah Conner, Thomas Dekker as John Connor, Summer Glau as Cameron/Allison Young, Brian Austin Green as Derek Reese and Shirley Manson as Catherine Weaver). Terminator Zero (2024), Netflix anime series; In 1997 Tokyo, Malcolm Lee is developing Kokoro, an AI system intended to compete with Skynet. The day before Judgment Day, Lee finds himself and his three children pursued by an unknown robot assassin and a mysterious soldier from the year 2022 has been sent to protect him; 1 season, 8 episodes.
