Read the post carefully all the way through. It’s in the latest- latest file folder. None of the old folders work.

Don't say it, checking youtube now!!!

Jamie

Do you have print settings for this file? Supports/infill, etc? Great stuff man!! keep it coming.

Jamie

I ended up designing my own version of the adaptor so it will fit and use the wick wedge as an insert to try and use the wicking effect of the ropes instead of just the coco in the medium.

Ken Crawford

@Croz increase your X and Y to 230mm in Cura. Those will be fine for an Ender 3.

IT

You can increase the size of the print bed in cura settings, this allows the print bed to accommodate the prints. The original settings are smaller than the printers ability. The mini system is specifically made with thicker walls on parts of it so you can scale to any size pipe. You just need to measure the pipe and that will be the percentage you use. At full size it will fit a 100mm pipe. Therefore it scales with percent perfectly. This is outlined in the video which covers each of these models. I am answering these questions here but generally I will ignore these as it would take too long to reply to everything in this way. Please refer to video content. Enjoy the prints. Cheers.

Mitchell Tomkins

The problem with scaling is it will scale down everything or you will distort the model. When you scale down then it will make the 50mm insert smaller as well. The file would allow us to cut down the sides of the circle to fit. I can print the Bucket no problem. Also, watch when you print the wickwedge as the outside diameter of the insert is 62mm so make sure you get the right hole saw as this is larger than the normal 2" net cup holes and smaller than the 3" net cut holes.

Ken Crawford

Hoocho, I agree with Ken that the Hooch Adapter and Hooch Bucket is a bit bigger for the print area on the Ender 3 pro. I did have to scale it down to 97% to fit to the print area. Do you have to reduce it to make it fit? Also the mini items are the same size as the "non" mini buckets and adapters, are they supposed to be scaled down and if so, what % to scale to?

Croz

Do you ever share your Fushion360 files? I have several printers and my largest one is rectangular and just a little narrow for the Hooch Adapter. I want to be able to modify the rounded ends a bit. I started drawing one out myself but thought I would ask first as it would be easier to modify the Fusion360 files. I totally understand if you don't want to share those files. Kindest Regards,

Ken Crawford

Hi Hoocho, I was about to make a small wicking downpipe system for growing tomatoes in a 20L pot, using the hole in the bottom and a net pot pushed through (as seen previously). Would the wick wedge be a better choice in the bottom of the pot?

Andrew Perry

Thanks Bud! Looking forward to try this out.

Sean Novak

thanks hoocho got it regards Jeff

It's up now

Mitchell Tomkins

Bunnings Aaron. Jeff, Must’ve left it out when I changed the folder location. I’ll put it in tonight. Sorry about that.

Mitchell Tomkins

Hoocho where can I get that brand of coco. Bunnings has it but unavailable. It’s cheaper by a mile than my normal one.

Aaron heness

sorry mate but its not in this link for the new wicking print
