So I made some poses
Added 2022-08-09 20:43:31 +0000 UTCUPDATE: I updated the game and removed everything but poseplayer teleporter and tool, gameplay probably won't work but I managed to test the poses... and another problem came up. I made some family poses on a floatie, but it seems it's impossible to pose a toddler on water! 😭 I'm going to cry... if any of you know a trick... I tried either by putting teleporter statue on water surface, or by putting all sims on the ground, pose them and then move them on the water with TOOL mod... Either ways, the toddler ends up on the shore 😥😥😥 I don't know if this is an update thing or what... but I really want to cry. They were perfect, I also wanted to make some poses on the boat... 😭😭😭

But origin won't start the Sims. I don't know why. Origin updated and suddenly all my games were blank. I managed to see them again, but the Sims won't start. Nothing changed from last time the game was executed... I don't know what to do.
I can't test the poses 🙄🙄
I will take this time to create more and will once again postpone the release of this week to weekend. Might as well keep this as a new rule since I need to do this often lately.
I hope origin will start to work again, but I doubt it. It seems it wants me to update the game or else it won't start the game even offline. Ugh I hate EA. Let me play offline, let me play without updating! 😒😒😒
Sorry for the rant I just can't stand this anymore. Anyway, I'm blocked until I will have enough time to go into updating (this weekend) or until origin decides to work again. Sorry 😔

Thank you 💙 yeah this is how I always did. I turned off internet or turned origin offline and it always worked, but yesterday origin itself updates and something must have gone wrong. No matter how many times I tried to start the game (even by clicking on ts4.exe), it simply wouldn't load at all, even without mods. I suspect the origin update corrupted something in the game files for which it needed to be repaired 😑 so I had to update the game unfortunately (because repairing also updates)😒 now i can test poses but can't play until I update all mods (fortunately I don't use many), but I'll have a lot of work to do fixing beds and such... I just wish we had more control over updates, since they are game breaking everytime 😖

2022-08-10 10:51:59 +0000 UTCI've learned that I can avoid the EA mandatory update by unplugging the ethernet WiFi Internet cable before starting the game. I unplug the cable. When the Internet access symbol changes from "connected" to "not connected," I right-click on the Origin symbol and choose "Sims 4." It gives me the log-in window, I type in name and password, and it begins the boot-up process. Once the game has loaded, I can plug the ethernet cable back into my PC. The game stays offline and I have Internet access. I tried this process before I wrote this note and the game loaded with no interference from Origin. So, FYI, you might give it a try.

2022-08-10 09:12:10 +0000 UTCHad the same issue yesterday too... i bought the new DLC and couldn't install it because of the blank library... it took a half day i quit origin a couple of times and after hours it worked again. i guess EA got some issues with the origin update i think :x Hope it will work today for you again!
