They confuse all of us but who knows maybe this tiki is just stronger than the others or she’s been under the Hipnosis for so long that they were able to do something to her I mean it’s literally said in the comic that once they hear the song they are 100% under their control so who’s to say that Piper didn’t try something to trick him considering the others have been failing and the girls have been freed he could’ve just done something different to try to confuse him

You're right on that she'd never do any of this on purpose, but HOW it's being forced is a mystery to us all...maybe the tikis planted a few pre-programmed messages in her head to fight like they did with Glaze when she was defeated and was forced to go to the next boss?
