Hi!

Along with writing the new Arcane Ugly update, Rachel and I have been making some new massive art! This is a collage of some older pieces that didn't have a home remixed into something new.

This piece is hand painted and Rachel and I painted it side by side, painting something new and then repainting over each other's work. Really fun. I really want to make more art like this with Rachel because it makes me think differently and loosely.

So I have been creating some new tools to film my new series called Problem Solving. Zane has been helping make this happen and lightened the workload. Below is the foundation of the new overhead filming rig I sketched up a few Miscast Minutes ago.

We ended up having to do some maintenance on the tablesaw to make this happen. The saw wasn't cutting all that straight and needed to be tuned.

This table saw was expensive enough to assume this would be an easy process, disappointingly it was not made to be easily tuned. However two hours later, after going through some old woodworking forums and making our own shims from Coke cans and washers, we now have a perfectly straight saw.

I also found this old brass embossing stamp at an antique shop! I want to replace the stamp with something Miscast-y, which I'll experiment with the laser cutter to do so. Failing that, I'll get some brass ones ordered online.

I also purchased a wood burning kit to see how I can incorporate it into my hobby. It's very fun and has a temperature control so it works great on EVA foam as well as wood.

Walking house 3D model update! It's all printed and on its way to me.

So while working with Zane, he introduced me to this $1 spray paint can attachment.

It's a beauty! Zane likes it for the control but I like it because it's way more comfortable if you have a lot of spraying to do. If I've done a lot of spraying in a day I'll sometimes get cramps in my finger and end up spraying with my thumb. Now it's not an issue! Would recommend.

This We're Watching is dedicated to patron Tom Bruce who has just launched a channel, go check out his first video here.

I'm also watching Grand Illusions, a fantastic YouTube channel featuring strange toys, gadgets and trinkets. This channel has inspired a lot of Arcane Ugly's magical treasures. Tim of Grand Illusions is like your adopted grandpa and if nothing else, you'll smile from his enthusiasm.
