November update from Kris

Hello ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, bitches and bastards, and anyone in between! Happy Holiday season from all of us over here at the cartoon butt factory. If you're not religious, happy December. If you're agnostic, happy whatever. If you are religious, we'll pray for you. If you're a non-sentient object, happiness is a foreign concept that you can't experience nor lack. I think that covers everyone, right? Follow me downwards to read more of this letter.

A couple of you ULTRA MEGA PALS were kind enough to ask some questions in the discord and I feel kind enough to answer them (you hear that, Santa? Put me on your good list you dutch bastard)

Q: "After all these years how do they feel now about CADs infamous Loss comic? I remember them making fun of it viciously!"

A: Well, I don't think we felt what the comic wanted us to. It was way out of left field, and it was even weirder that this was something the author's friend was going through, and to have it shoehorned into a video game webcomic was hilarious to us, as it was with most people. Dave ended up creating a comic making fun of the weird tone and long winded style of CAD. We met Tim Buckley a few years later.

First thing he asks is which one of us was Dave, but Dave was still in Ireland at the time. After he found out Dave wasn't there, Tim was a super nice guy. We do depressing comic week every year, and even we thought it was odd.

Q: "Also when they first started the comic did they have any conception that might still be running at the end of 2018?"

A: Not at all, when Explosm was started we were sending them back and forth to make each other laugh. It's like handing notes to classmates, but instead of notes they were crude comics, and instead of classmates they were strange men I'd never met on the internet. Instead of being catfished or molested, we made a comic series, so it didn't turn out so bad.

Hell, when I first started the comic I didn't show it to anyone for a long time since I assumed I was the only person who could find the comics funny.

Answering questions is pretty fun, I'll probably do this again next time so keep your eyes on the discord in the near future.
